This policy describes the information used by the IPTVGuides website and community.
Information stored
Community accounts store a username, email address, password hash, recovery-code hash, role and account timestamps. Forum contributions store the submitted content, status and moderation history. Contact messages and reports are stored for the site administrator to review. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored as readable text.
Cookies and browser storage
The forum uses a session cookie for sign-in and request protection. Saved guides are stored only in your current browser. The site does not include third-party advertising or analytics scripts by default.
Request security
A salted hash derived from a network address may be used to limit repeated requests. The application does not expose this value publicly. The hosting provider may separately keep server access logs.
Public and private content
Approved usernames, topics and replies are public. Account emails, contact messages, password hashes and moderation reports are not part of public forum responses. Do not include private credentials in public posts.
Your choices
Use the account page to change your password or delete your account. Account deletion removes your sign-in details and anonymizes retained discussions. You can ask the moderation team to remove specific content through the report or contact forms.
External websites
Linked websites follow their own policies. Following a directory link does not transmit forum credentials to the linked site.

Send privacy questions through the contact form. The site operator is responsible for responding and applying any local retention requirements.
